Nanjo studio is a flower studio based in Strasbourg, France that engages in a variety of flower-related activities such as event decorations, weddings, and pop-up shops. About me

Hello, I’m Rie Nanjo, creator of Nanjo Studio. I was born in Japan, studied architectural design during my student days, and decided to pursue a career as an event florist where I could put that knowledge to use. I’m a curious person, so I pursued a career as a florist in Japan, Canada, London and now France. My experience ranges from space decoration for events, hotels, restaurants, etc. and work at flower shops.

What I realized was that the root of my artistic aesthetic was the Japanese culture of wabi-sabi. Wabi-sabi is a Japanese aesthetic philosophy that finds beauty in imperfection and impermanence. In this flower studio, I express what I have learned in the world and my own aesthetic sense. Join me as I celebrate the art of imperfection and the beauty of the moment.
